Meet Amy Johannson:
What is your role with SmartTRAK? I was just brought on board full time as the QC Manager. Prior to this I was a QC Auditor helping to bring consistency to all our Company and product profiles.
What do you like about SmartTRAK? SmartTRAK is one of the most collaborative and supportive environments I’ve ever worked in. Ideas are heard and thoughtfully considered. The level of detail that goes into these profiles is tremendous and it shows the dedication the staff has to their work.
What is something special or unique that you bring to SmartTRAK subscribers? I was in the auto publisher industry for decades and worked with dealerships, media agencies, sales staff and developers. This has allowed me to see a project from all sides, anticipate needs and execute them at a high level.
What are your favorite online websites or resources that you check every day? For work, I visit appft.uspto.gov to get accurate patent information, www.sec.gov and our own SmartTRAK. For fun, I’m a sucker for IG Reels for a good laugh.
How do you stay current on what’s going on in the industry? I really rely on our SmartTRAK daily updates and our talented group of Analysts in our daily emails. They are a wealth of knowledge.
If you could have one super power what would it be? These past two years have been the hardest I’ve experienced. If I had a super power I would want to cure disease with a snap of my fingers. I would want to take that pain away.
What was the last show you binge-watched? I can’t get enough of Ted Lasso and Great British Baking Show (family favorite).
What is your life like outside of SmartTRAK? (family, kids, pets? What can we find you doing when you’re not working?) You’ll find me at a softball field cheering on my 12 year old daughter, or at a cross country meet clapping for my 15 year old daughter, supporting my husband in his triathlons and mountain bike races. I’m an amazing support staff! I love cooking for my family and friends, but don’t ask me to bake.
What are you the most excited about for your upcoming year at SmartTRAK? I’m excited to see new projects come to light. I love being on the ground floor of creating something new.
