SmartTRAK expects surgical procedures to recover but at a slower pace than initially thought due to the stress and pressure hospital staff have been under and their ability to return to normal work. The UK NHS Providers Group warned on February 1 that traumatized and exhausted medical staff will need time to recover before tackling the backlog of procedures.
